- How does the antenna work? We install an antenna outside or in the attic for local TV reception that brings in all the TV channels offered over the air for free. Once you pay for the installation, there is no monthly fee. The antenna is included in the price and you own it after installation.
- Where do you install the antenna? Most typical placement is towards the back of the house towards the peak of the roof. Antenna can be mounted to the side facia board or to the roof. Placement of antenna in attic is possible if preferred and depends on location of house and is usually determined if this is possible before install is started.
- What channels will I get? There is a list of channels offered over the air on our webpage. Just place the cursor on the red star labeled “Free HDTV” to view list of channels.
- Can I connect more than one TV to the antenna? Yes. The antenna can provide signal to multiple TV’s.
- How much does it cost? Installation price starts at $299 for the standard size antenna which includes connecting and set up for one TV with existing coax cabling to television. The cost does increase based on location, size of antenna, number of TV’s set up and additional wiring installed.
- Do I need a converter box? Only if your TV is analog. Most televisions with a manufacture date of 2006 and newer will have a built in converter and there is no need for a converter box. The manufacture date can be found on the back of the TV.
- Where do I get a converter box? Any electronics department (Walmart, Bestbuy). Our technicians also can provide the converter box with set up to your TV at time of antenna install for $60.
- Is there any maintenance required? No. The antenna is installed in a fixed position and does not rotate.
- What if I live in a place with high winds? Our installations are done to withstand high winds and come with an installation warranty on the work order.
- Does the antenna lose reception with snow/rain? No. Antenna reception is received over the air and not sent by satellite.
- Can I record local television? Yes. Popular DVR’s are “tivo” and “channel Master” we prefer channel master DVR’s and can be purchased online at www.channelmaster.com we do not sell any DVR’s but we can help install them.
- What types of payment do you take? We accept cash, check and credit cards. If credit card is used, a 3% charge will be added.
